What’s new in TomTom NAVIGATOR 7?

Among many new features, this new version of NAVIGATOR brings unique TomTom innovation to the mobile phone:

  • TomTom Map Share™ technology

Make corrections to your own map and benefit from thousands of corrections made by TomTom users every day – free of charge.

  • Accurate map of Western Europe

TomTom NAVIGATOR 7 on microSD comes with a 2009 map of Western Europe. Even if you already have a city map trial version, full maps will give you a better navigation experience, covering more of your journeys and allowing you to explore further. You can easily download these from the Map Shop.

  • Help me! Menu

Find help with local emergency service information at your fingertips. From hospitals to roadside assistance, this information is useful in any area.

  • Extended Safety Preferences

With safety preferences you can set your device to suggest driving breaks and warn you when you are approaching schools or places of worship or when you are driving faster than the local speed limit. You can also be warned about which side of the road you should drive on when you visit other countries.

  • Country Switcher

If your map covers multiple regions, Country switcher lets you select a specific country before you enter a city name. This makes searching much faster since your phone only needs to search through a list of city names for one country. The postcode option can be used to search for postcodes in other countries. The Accent Spelling Aid helps you to enter city names that contain accented letters in the local language, such as the letter ä which you can enter as ae.

  • Share voices, POIs and other content

Use TomTom HOME to personalise your device with free content from the TomTom community.
