  Device not connecting to computer
 

Answer

 

The moment you connect your TomTom device to a computer, your device should ask Do you want to connect to 'computer'. Once you tap YES it should connect to the computer. TomTom HOME then starts.

If your device is not connecting click one of the solutions below:

  • Device not responding
    You connect your device to your computer but the device does not ask if you want to connect.

  • Device not recognised by HOME
    TomTom HOME does not start or does not recognise your device.

  • Device not recognised by computer
    Your device does not appear in My Computer (Windows) or on the desktop (Macintosh).
